Newspaper analysis We decided to call our newspaper 'The Generator' which supports our idea that we generate the latest news stories for people to be updated with what's happening around them. The Generator is a tabloid newspaper, which means it is less formal and more appealing to the eyes of younger audiences. It was decided that the masthead was going to be written in white as it makes it clearer to read, but also white refers to goodness or purity which reading the paper fulfils our readers minds with good news.
