The masthead of this news cover is ' The Sun ' which identifies itself as a right wing, tabloid and links in with the royal family or in other words, in favour of the royal family. This is also proven as the front cover uses Meghan as the main headline with ' ROYAL EXCLUSIVE ' as the selling point which is used because most people love and are interested in the royal family and what they do in their day to day lives. Which is why announcing that their is an royal exclusive would attract most peoples attention alongside a story about Prince Harry's wife to be Meghan. Due to it containing the royal family, we would expect the language to give off a positive connotation.

The Daily Mirror is a tabloid and is also the opposite to The Sun and its political bias is on the left wing. This newspaper is a good example of the left wing as they look to the future which the headline also conveys. Alongside this, ' IT'S PRESIDENT TRUMP ' above a picture of the statue of liberty having her head in her hands, also conveys the idea that Trump could potentially be a bad figure for their future as the new president of United States of America. The Daily Mirror is owned by Trinity Mirror who is responsible for what news stories are released.
The newspapers front cover is produced by a main image with a strap line below it to get the readers attention quickly. however the fonts used are not that big and bold which can lose the attention of buyers who are on the go.

Right wing beliefs value tradition, they are about equity, survival of the fittest, and they believe in economic freedom. They typically believe that business shouldn’t be regulated, and that we should all look after ourselves. Right wing people tend believe they shouldn’t have to pay for someone else’s education or health service. They believe in freedom to succeed over equality.
