Half term group work

The product we chose to advertise is an skin care product which has an special all in one purpose of cleansing and tones uneven skin. Furthermore the product is dermatologically tested and approved, multi-vitamins and sensitive skin experts. A well known brand such as Simple is a UK leading brand for sensitive skin and also over 50 years.Simple has a goal to formulate skin care products which are suitable to all skin types. It is also apart of the consumer good company Unilever UK Ltd. Unilever is a multinational corporation which sell trusted products, they also own more than 400 brands including Lynx, Radox, Vaseline and many more.

Our aim is to target middle class teenage girls of any race as we believe and assume that this age group are more self conscious about the appearance of their skin. Which is why we want to work with creating them a product which can help them feel more confident in there natural look instead of hiding their true beauty with make up. We will have Selena Gomez as our unique selling point as she is popular young role model for this age group. Fortunately her popularity, good reputation and being young herself is believed to make our campaign more successful.

We believe to inform our viewers with a fact that 'Having clear and healthy skin was important to 81% of young girls' which gives a reassurance to some that they are not the only ones who are insecure about their skin. We hope that using Selena Gomez will help persuade and sell our product as if the viewers know that she uses the product, people would believe and make them want to own it as it's been used by the famous Selena Gomez. To achieve this we aim to use close-up shots of her face with bright lighting so it can show the results of how the product has worked on her skin. Finally, our slogan is "This is Natural Beauty!" giving the message that you shouldn't have to rely on make up to make you beautiful. However the product should make you feel beautiful through showing their natural skin off.
